The goal of the UNC Asheville test preparation program is to offer high quality, affordable classes which will help students achieve test scores which reflect their true potential and ability. We currently offer classes for the SAT and GRE tests.
Using experienced test preparation teachers, highly-rated materials and feedback from the hundreds of students who have completed the classes, we have developed courses which prepare students to take standardized tests.
Instructors will review the material covered by the test, the type of questions asked and strategies for approaching different types of questions. Students are given tips for test questions and then given in-class opportunities to practice using strategies on questions from official, retired tests. After each session, the class instructors stay for additional time to work with students who want individual assistance.
